There is always a choice of activities available every morning. We work with children individually and in small groups to facilitate their play, social interactions and activities. Typical activities during the day will incorporate art, literature, baking, blocks, music and dramatic play. Singing, finger plays, musical games, and stories will be shared with children.
Your child will be introduced to numbers, alphabets, shapes and colors. Activities throughout the day focus on building vocabulary skills, self-help skills and creating friendships.
The children learn the alphabet in a way that is meaningful and purposeful to them. They learn the letters and corresponding sounds as they use them for a purpose. Counting, along with other math concepts are incorporated into the children’s everyday activities. Children are using math skills as they play basic board games, work on puzzles and build with blocks.
Our goal is to help your child feel safe secure and comfortable thus enabling him/her to form positive relationships with other children, adults and the world around him/her.
